Chamarajendra Park is a historic park, located in the heart of the Bangalore city in the Central Administrative Area. Sri Chamarajendra Park, popularly known as Cubbon Park, is a sprawling urban park located in the heart of Bangalore along Ambedkar Veedhi. The list does not contain any National parks, biological parks, botanical gardens, zoological parks or natural parks. In the center of the park is a circular musical fountain, which attracts many visitors at night with light shows and music performances.

Although the name has been changed, even now the park is popularly known as Cubbon Park. Later in the year 1927, the name Cubbon Park was again changed to Sri Chamarajendra Park. Initially spread over an area of 100 acres, the park was later expanded to around 300 acres of land. However, later the park was renamed as Cubbon Park in the memory of Sir Mark Cubbon who was then the longest serving commissioner. After his name, the park was initially named as Meade’s Park.
